 News/Press October 25, 1999 SDD ANNOUNCES TELEMANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS AND SERVICES FOR MULTI-TENANT AND MIXED-USE PROPERTIES Business Editors/Technology Editors BOCA RATON, FLORIDA -- Today SDD expanded its JAZZ hospitality communications accounting product line to directly support operators of multi-tenant properties including condominiums, timeshares, and extended stays. With the announcement of JAZZ Residence Telemanager, the SDD JAZZ product telemanagement and communications accounting software family now provides a broad set of telemanagement capabilities required by operators of mixed-use properties and developments using a single, integrated tool. JAZZ Residence Telemanager is a telemanagement and communications accounting software tool for managing telecommunication profits within multi-tenant properties. It specifically captures telephone, service, and recurring equipment charges for in-house tenants. It costs, surcharges, and bills telecommunications activity back to tenant accounts using customizable billing methods. JAZZ Residence Telemanager can manage multiple properties, while operating across corporate networks. "Our customers have emphasized that managing telephones and networks within a hotel property is quite different from managing phones and networks on convention floors, meeting rooms, or within an owner or tenant occupied property, observes Ron Tarro, SDD President/CEO. JAZZ Residence Telemanager is an extension of SDD's JAZZ Property Telemanagement System. JAZZ Telemanagement operates under Microsoft Windows NT. It provides network-wide and immediate access, control, and analysis of telephone and network activity. Telephony information can be secured with JAZZ's functional and data level security. JAZZ is also integrated with many of the commercially available property, event, and financial management systems.
